Book Meme

I found this on Chasida's blog and I thought it was cute and I would do it.

She found it on Bibilophiles Anonymous.

Look at the list of books below:Bold the ones you’ve read. Mark in blue the ones you want to read. Cross out the ones that you wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole (or use red coloring). Finally, italicize the ones you've never heard of.

Bonus Book: Did you ever read the Princess Bride by William Goldman? It's much better than the movie.

SephardiLady: Really, it's that good? I have thought about reading for the past 20 years, but never have.

Am kshe Oref: Of course I have read that, it is fantastic. I really loved that book. I haven't read it since High School though, maybe I should read it again.

I LOVED Anne of Green Gables. I think I read the first four and received the first six as gifts. I read the first one during the summer between either 4th and 5th or 5th and 6th. I was never able to enjoy books that were part of the classroom requirments because of all the pressure to produce a project or report. I enjoyed a lot of my summer reading including Anne of Green Gables and To Kill a Mockingbird.

Of course, it has been about 20 years since I read it, so my impression today would probably be different. And at this point in my life, I rarely, if ever, sit down with fiction.

Since you are an avid reader, I think you would enjoy.
